Watermelon Slush - A summer special

Here I am with another watermelon drink recipe specially for summer to quench your thirst and give you a refreshing burst of flavour. Along with watermelon, I have used minimum ingredients which are easily available in every kitchen to prepare this: Mint leaves, lime and water. You can also add sugar to make it sweet but I have skipped sugar for this one as it already had the required sweetness.

Ingredients: (1 cup = 200 ml)
  • Frozen watermelon cubes - 5 cups 
  • Lime Juice - 1 
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves 
  • 1 cup water 

Method:
  • Cut watermelon into pieces and keep it in the freezer overnight. 
  • Remove watermelon chunks from freezer and defrost for 10 mins. 
  • Add watermelon, lime juice, mint leaves and water to a blender and blend it at a high speed. 
  • Blend till watermelon chunk breaks and forms a thick consistency. 
  • Pour it in glass and serve it chilled. 

Enjoy the chilled watermelon drink with refreshing flavor of mint!
